  Hosts
Doug Baasch, Host of Classics by Request
Douglas Baasch is a music performance major for both the cello and organ. Douglas is a member of the New England Youth Ensemble and has traveled to nearly 20 countries across the world. He has performed numerous times on the stage of Carnegie Hall under the direction of John Rutter. In addition to his musical studies, Douglas is interested in the field of public health. He hopes to one day incorporate his love for travel and music into addressing the problems facing the most impoverished countries around the world.
Joshua Bermúdez, Host of Afternoon Classics and Top Classics
Joshua Bermúdez has worked as an announcer at WSMC since December 2004. He is a Business Management major with a Pre-Law emphasis and a minor in Music Composition. When not studying or working he enjoys playing the cello and piano, and kayaking in the myriads of rivers and creeks around Chattanooga.
Kirsten Houmann
Kirsten Houmann is taking a double major in communications and music. She has been studying and performing piano since age 10, and writing for as long as she can remember. During her junior year, Kirsten served as a student missionary to an orphanage in Odobesti, Romania. In her rare free time, Kirsten enjoys playing piano, hiking, volunteering at animal shelters, and expanding her musical tastes. Upon graduating, she plans to continue working in the classical music industry as a writer and analyst.
Timothy McFeeters
Timothy McFeeters is a music education major at SAU.  He plays the violin in the symphony orchestra at Southern. "When I was coming down here, I was wondering if I would be able to find a classical radio station to listen to. I find it a great privilege to work here." He listened to classical radio for a number of years at his home in Kentucky.  He plans to finish a degree in music education and then go on to graduate school.
Julyann Pagán
A student of Southern Adventist University since the fall of 2005, Julyann Pagán has been working at WSMC since January of 2006.  When not operating the switchboard and playing classical favorites, Julyann can be found avidly studying for her double majors, laughing and enjoying the moment with friends, eating a Griller and onion packed quesadilla, proudly waving her Puerto Rican flag, and drinking a Starbucks Caramel Macchiato...all at the same time.
